Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • ½ cup Hellmann’s mayonnaise
  • 1 stalk celery finely chopped
  • ¼ cup red onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup grapes halved (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons almonds slivered (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley chopped (for garnish, optional)
  • Lettuce leaves or bread for serving

Instructions
 

  • Combine Chicken and Veggies: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, chopped celery, and red onion. If you’re using grapes and almonds, add them to the bowl as well.
  • Add Flavorings: Stir in the Hellmann’s mayonnaise and lemon juice. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Chill (Optional): For the best flavor, cover and refrigerate the chicken salad for at least 1 hour before serving. This step is optional but allows the flavors to meld together more fully.
