Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Salad

  • 4 cups of cooked chicken shredded (about one rotisserie chicken)
  • ½ cup of crumbled bacon bits about 6 cooked strips of bacon
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese preferably sharp
  • ½ cup of green onions chopped
  • ½ cup of celery washed and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Dressing

  • ¾ cup of mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons of ranch dressing
  • 3 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice optional

Instructions
 

  • Begin by prepping your ingredients. If your chicken isn’t already cooked and shredded, do that first. After cooking until crispy, crumble your bacon. Shred your cheese, and chop your green onions, celery, and parsley.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, green onions, celery, and parsley. To guarantee that the ingredients are dispersed evenly, thoroughly mix.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ranch dressing, sour cream, and lemon juice (if using) until smooth. Season this dressing with salt, pepper, and garlic powder according to your taste preferences.
  • After adding the dressing to the chicken mixture, toss everything to ensure it is evenly coated. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
